Sound insulating and fire-resistant doors
Alara-Lukagro sound insulating and fire resistant doors type AL-D are designed according to a large number of demands, developed for a many different applications in both industrial as well as architectural building. The quality of our sound insulating doors guarantees optimum user friendliness, extended lifetime, good value for money and obviously supreme sound insulation.
Sound insulating doors type AL-D
The sound insulating doors type AL-D are equipped with double layer door panel, made out of pre-galvanised steel sheet. Optionally doors can also be made of cast aluminium or stainless steel in different grades. All door panels have a thickness of 80 mm and have identical looks, so doors with different acoustic properties can be easily combined without it being visible.
To ensure an optimum sealing we apply specifically designed rubbers. Door type AL-D 45 has a single sealing, all other models have double sealing. Depending on location and application you can choose different designs of threshold:
- standard threshold (in combination with AL-D 45 only)
- standard threshold with double sealing
- extra low threshold
- automatic drop threshold in combination with flat floor plate
For application in exterior walls the thresholds are also available in protruding design, providing optimum watertight integrity.

Dimensions
The sound insulating doors type AL-D are available in single- and double lead version, with or without mullion. Standard maximum dimensions are W x H = 1.200 x 2.700 mm per leaf, but upon request almost any size is possible. The mentioned dimensions are applicable for the door leaf.
Options
As a standard, all doors are supplied with lock with day- and night latch. Obviously many different types of lock are available. Also various versions of threshold, sealing, door frame, material and coating are available. An overview of the most common options you find below:
- espagnolet bolt / clasp-fasteners
- dogs / worm lock
- door springs (build in and up)
- various door fasteners and chains
- anti-panic lock
- burglary resistant
- fire resistant
In general the locks are produced by a selected manufacturer, other brands are available on request. Also other types of locks, key systems and provisions according to your specification are possible.

Of all sound insulating doors test certificates, specifications according to STABU, drawings and technical data sheets are available.
Sound insulating and fire resistant doors type AL-D/B
Besides optimum noise insulation the Alara-Lukagro doors type AL-D/B also offer fire resistant capabilities, tested end certified according to NEN 6069. You can choose 30 and 60 minutes fire resistance. In the table below you find an overview of the available models.

The looks of the doors is identical to the versions without fire resistant function, so doors can be combined without having to do any concession to the presentation. Sound insulating sliding and vertical lift doors type AL-D/S and H
Not only when a large free passage is required sliding and vertical lift doors are the right choice, but also in other situations this type of door can offer advantages. Just like with the swinging doors, we can offer you an extensive series of doors with high sound insulation value.
